Approach

Our client was established to implement an ultra-broadband network infrastructure entirely in FTTH (Fiber To The Home) in all Italian regions. In order to realise this ambitious project, it chose a "wholesale only" business model, so as to guarantee free access to all interested operators, on equal terms, providing users with a wide range of choice. It then expressed the need to equip itself with an innovative and structured IT ecosystem that would guarantee reactive and effective management of the entire B2B2C sales cycle.

Solution

Particular attention was given to streamlining the supplier accounting process. We created a solution centred on the Service Cloud and Partner Community modules, taking advantage of the additional capabilities provided by Salesforce CPQ and Maps. These tools have allowed us to develop a portal for the management of contracts for fibre services by OLOs (B2B) to monitor the progress of ongoing practices in a dedicated area. Salesforce CPQ allowed us to manage requests for optional services through a centralised catalogue in the CRM.
